Arrow Publications (The Arrow) was
founded by
Michelle Sidebottom, a housewife and mother who recognised how difficult it
was to find out about what was going on in the local community for children,
where to find a good plumber and where was the best place to get her nails
done!
Michelle's background was in
regional sales and she is ably assisted by her husband Sid, an IT
professional and trainer. With a young family Michelle was looking for
an opportunity that would provide her with the ideal work life balance
and she discovered it in Arrow Publications. The first magazine
published to be was 'The Branton and Auckley Arrow' which was a roaring
success, this led Michelle to publish her second magazine the Edenthorpe Arrow. Having witnessed first hand the success of both
magazines Michelle's neighbour Julie Morrell asked her and Sid to help
her set up her own local magazine in Hatfield. The Hatfield Flyer and
Flyer Publications was born. Recognising that they had the skill
sets to assist others in setting up their own community magazines
Michelle and Sid now sell the brand of Arrow magazines to others throughout
